Add a gradient background
- Select the element and open the Style tab.
- Expand Backgrounds & color → Background image & gradients.
- Click + Add background. A two-color linear gradient is added and its editor opens.
- Choose linear, radial or conic. For linear and conic, set the angle; for radial, choose ellipse or circle.
- Edit the stops:
- Click a diamond under the bar to select a stop, then change its color and position.
- Drag a diamond to move it.
- Click the bar to add a stop.
- Click × next to the selected stop to delete it.
- Optionally set the layer’s size, position and repeat below the gradient.
Common variations
- Gradient over a photo. Add a second background, switch it to image, and enter the image path. Use ↑/↓ so the gradient is first — the first layer is drawn on top.
- Stripes. Turn on ↻ (repeating) and place stops close together.
- Transparent stops. Use the alpha slider in a stop’s color picker.
