Set up the page title and social preview
- Open the Props tab. You don’t need to select anything.
- Under Page settings, expand Title & description.
- Type the Title. Keep it under 60 characters — the counter turns red above that.
- Type the Description, about 155 characters, as you’d like it to appear in search results.
- Expand Social sharing and fill in:
- og:title and og:description — usually the same as the title and description.
- og:image — the full address of a 1200×630 image.
- og:url — the page’s public address.
- twitter:card —
summary_large_imagefor a large image preview.
- Expand Language and set lang, for example
en.
Common variations
- Hide the page from search engines. Under SEO, set Robots to
noindex, follow. - Same content at another address. Under SEO, set Canonical to the preferred address.
- Translated versions. Under SEO → Language alternates, add one entry per language.
Troubleshooting
- A setting doesn’t stick when cleared. Clearing a field removes its tag from the page; that is the expected way to remove a setting.
